A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider in the City of London. PRS Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Shift Engineer on a Banking Contract at Fenchurch Street. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical bias (NVQ, C&G, etc.) with proven experience in commercial building maintenance. The role involves working with the onsite maintenance team to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks. The company offers a competitive salary of £48,000 with opportunities for further training and career growth.

Duties:

  • Carrying out daily PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Responding to emergency callouts
  • Managing the operation and maintenance of mechanical services in accordance with KPIs and SLAs
  • Maintaining all mechanical equipment within the building
  • Carrying out plumbing and pipework repairs
  • Performing minor fabric repairs as needed
  • Procurement of materials and equipment for tasks
  • Organizing and supervising subcontractors when required
  • Supporting the Lead Engineer and Account Manager to ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements
  • Attending to reactive calls in line with KPIs and SLAs
  • Communicating with Helpdesk, onsite team, and clients
  • Identifying and reporting electrical/engineering issues that could impact the building environment
