This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, available for an immediate start, working within a nurturing and inclusive educational setting that supports pupils with diverse SEN needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Adapt resources and learning activities to suit individual needs.
- Promote pupils self-esteem, confidence, and independence through targeted support.
- Assist the class teacher in managing behaviour and implementing behaviour support plans.
- Monitor and record pupil progress in line with EHCP targets.
- Help to foster a safe, supportive, and respectful classroom culture.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting, ideally within SEN environments.
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine commitment to supporting the needs of pupils with additional needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A relevant qualification in education or support work is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are beneficial but not essential.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
