Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants/Support workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in supported living, residential, and care homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and promoting independence. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a difference in others\’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation of patient progress and changes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold dignity and respect while providing emotional support and companionship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a supported living or care home environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and self-motivate.
• Familiarity with creating and following care plans.
• A caring attitude and commitment to high-quality support.
