About The Role
The Funds and Indirect Real Estate team is band 1 ranked and the Indirect Real Estate practice covers high-value corporatised real estate transactions including M&A and JVs in relation to both corporate wrapped real estate and associated operational platforms as well as asset/investment management transactions and establishment of private REITs. The Indirect Real Estate clients include sovereign wealth investors, listed REITs, private equity real estate managers, developers and pensions fund investors.
The Role Offers:
- the opportunity to work closely with partners on challenging, complex, high value and often high-profile indirect real estate transactions across a wide variety of real estate asset classes including office, logistics, PRS/BTR, student accommodation and retail;
- the opportunity to work closely with the CMS funds team and Real Estate team in Europe and beyond;
- opportunities to develop client relationships, for business development and to raise your and the firms' profile;
- the opportunity to be part of a Tier 1 practice and work on premium and complex transactions within the real estate sector.
About You
You will have excellent attention to detail, project management skills, drafting skills, the ability to translate legal theory into practical commercial advice, sound judgement and good interpersonal and consultancy skills. To meet the needs of the role, you will have an appropriate level of post qualification experience (1-4PQE) in a leading law firm and have focused on indirect/corporate real estate matters or have more general corporate M&A and JV transactions experience. No funds experience is required for this role.
