My client has been a leading investor in the biotech sector for over 15 years. They have been pivotal in helping fund emerging biotechs at the early stages of drug development and supporting them through to product launch. This is an exciting opportunity for senior executives in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors to move into the Venture Capital sector.

Job Description

Assessing proposals from Fund Managers, analysis of company growth and products in development
Investment plans and forecasts to format investments reports
Working with internal stakeholders and external advisors and KOLs
Managing a portfolio of biotech fund investments
Doing in-depth research for investment proposals for fund investments in the pharmaceutical sector
Preparing reports and analysis of investment and investment fund

Candidate Profile

Senior Manager with a minimum of 10 years within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector
In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical sector in the UK and EU
In-depth understanding of drug development and launches
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reimbursement
Good understanding of pharmaceutical company financials and business strategies
MD, PhD, PharmD or any other science-based background
