Job Role: Care Assistant – Durham – County Durham

Hours: 36 – 48 hours per week (not guaranteed)

Pay Rates: £11.68–16.81 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Must have 6 months UK experience.

Work involves assisting in local care homes with a focus on person-centered care to support those at risk.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting service users at meal times
• Using hoists and slide sheets for moving and handling
• Providing personal care and daily assistance to the elderly
• Representing the company and yourself professionally
• Supporting individuals with dementia & Alzheimer’s
• Supporting mental health, neurological, and sensory impairments
• Assisting those with learning and physical disabilities
• Providing palliative/end of life care
• Cancer care

We offer flexible shifts within a well-known care provider. You can choose your shifts each week, with options for full-time hours if desired.

Shifts are tailored to your availability, lifestyle, and location, with no requirement to drive.
