Area Cleaning Supervisor/Manager

We are looking for a cleaning supervisor to manage and supervise contracts across various locations across the South of England. The ideal candidate is an experienced supervisor with a proven track record of supervising cleaners and getting the task done. You must have a clean, Full UK drivers license.

What’s On Offer

Salary is flexible (£18k-25k+) depending on experience. Package will include company van, laptop, phone, and bonus.

Duties Include

• Ensure correct standards of services are established and maintained on customer sites to the SLA.
• Setting up and starting new accounts.
• Recruitment, induction, training, and supervision of cleaners.
• Manage cleaner register & timesheet monitor/collating for payroll.
• Monthly site evaluations with customers.
• Arranging cover cleans for staff holidays/absence/no shows.
• Covering staff holidays/absences yourself if cover for staff is not possible.
• Customer relationship management.
• Some of our customer contract sites will need visiting at unsociable hours – your flexibility is essential.
• You will be on standby over the weekends to address any possible emergencies.

What’s Required

• 1 year experience in supervision/area supervisor, cleaning management, account management.
• Must be able to deal with stress.
• Organised and methodical.
• Enthusiastic approach.
• Work on own initiative & own planning.
• Adaptable to fluctuating workloads.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• IT skills essential (email management/database management/Microsoft Word and Excel/general internet literate).
