We are on the lookout for an experienced Pipewelder to support a long term contract, based both on and offsite for our client.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG Welding background
• Working on 1/2\’ -3\’ Duplex pipe
• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
• Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project progression

Job Requirements

• Experience in pipe welding within the nuclear/oil & gas/marine industries
• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
• Experience working with Duplex
• A solid understanding of pipe welding safety practices and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Flexibility to work onsite at a different client location
• Capability to work extended hours when necessary

Job Duration and Location:

• Contract duration c. 7 weeks
• Initial location: Renfrew, then Alloa
• Paid 50 hour week
• £30/h PAYE plus £3.62/h holiday pay or £40.18/h Umb Co. Can go CIS.
