Position OverviewThe European Investment Grade team is seeking an Associate in London, focusing on Financials, particularly the insurance sector. The Associate will be involved in all stages of the investment underwriting and portfolio management process across a variety of opportunities within the investment grade funds strategy. The successful candidate will support the Principal in managing existing coverage of corporates across liquid and illiquid mandates. Additionally, the Associate will be part of deal teams supporting the origination and underwriting of complex private transactions.

The role primarily involves modeling, quantitative financial analysis, industry research, and ongoing investment monitoring. The Associate will play a key role in the investment process, analyzing credit across multiple industries and sectors within the Apollo Credit ecosystem.

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of relevant experience in buy-side or sell-side financial markets, with a preference for M&A or equity research experience

Multi-year exposure to the insurance sector, including complex modeling and projections

Master\’s degree with strong academic achievement; undergraduate degree ideally in actuarial science

Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

Robust interpersonal skills for external and internal stakeholder communication

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities
