Site Operative

About the Role

1. Sorting, bulking, and preparing waste for offsite disposal: e.g., baling plastic waste, bulking paint tins and aerosols, sorting non-hazardous wastes for landfill.
2. Ensuring all waste is stored safely in designated areas.
3. Offloading/loading vehicles with forklift.
4. Assisting drivers with loading/unloading vehicles.
5. Informing the technical team when loads need to be booked out of site or skips exchanged.
6. Fulfilling orders in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Looking after related plant and equipment.
8. Accepting deliveries.
9. Maintaining general housekeeping on site.
10. Following systems of work to ensure safety.
11. Taking care to ensure activities do not put others at risk.
12. Performing any other reasonable requests.
