Purpose:
To maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the Heavy Goods trailers of the TIP Group assets (primarily trailers) and its customers\’ own assets at customers\’ sites/VMU’s/TIP workshops or roadside.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Complete all compliance details accurately and promptly.
- Drive and operate all company vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies, including the Mobile Van Policy.
- Undertake all necessary training as required by the company.
- Provide excellent customer service while working to deadlines.
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate TIP values & behaviors consistently.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be a “Time Served” technician or hold City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent, with a technical background in trailer repairs.
- Welding experience is preferable.
- High enthusiasm and good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete relevant documentation.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads.
- Ability to work autonomously if required.

Job type
Permanent full-time – 10-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, with 30 mins paid break and 1 hr unpaid lunch per day.
