Following continued success and growth our FinTech client is seeking to appoint a new Head of Payment Operations to manage, lead, develop and refine the payments operations and strategy in order to support further anticipated growth in 2025 and beyond. You will be instrumental in supporting the senior leadership team as the company scales in providing the vision and energy in building the payments function as a critical part of the success of the business.
Duties will include:
- Management, training and development of the payments team
- Devise and implement improvements to internal processes and procedures
- Provide subject matter expertise on UK, European and US payment schemes
- Manage relationships with varied, internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with senior leadership teams to support the companies vision and values
- Stay abreast of any changes and champion relevant payment services regulations
- Work with impetus to support the global expansion and development of the business
Experience includes:
- Recent experience managing a payment operations team in a financial services organisation.
- Detailed knowledge of payment schemes: SWIFT, BACS, SEPA, Faster Payments, European and US schemes
- Understanding of and experienced in the application of payment services regulations
- Implementing new payment systems, enhancing process and managing projects
