Production Operative : Permanent Nights

A leading manufacturer is recruiting Production Operatives in a hands-on role, operating mixing machinery in a high-volume and busy production line.

Working 37.5 hours per week, this night shift operates 10 pm – 6 am.

THE ROLE:

1. Working in a friendly and fast-paced environment you will help meet production targets, maximise output and minimise waste.
2. Measuring, grading and feeding batches of raw materials or unfinished products into machinery.
3. Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

1. Similar experience in a production role is desirable.
2. Excellent timekeeping – turning up on time and completing a full shift is essential.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

1. £16.70 per hour (equivalent to £32,565 per year).
2. Discretionary bonus of approximately £1,791.07 (taking earnings to £34,356 per year)
3. 25 days holiday (5 of which to be used over Christmas) + public holidays
4. Optional health and pension scheme after the probation period.
