We have an exciting opportunity for the Lead Researcher role within a unique team at Kantar. This role focuses on Buyer Journey research and custom research projects, often working as part of larger virtual teams across Kantar. This opportunity will allow you to showcase your skills and make a significant impact on our clients. As the Lead Researcher, you will be the driving force behind the design and execution of research projects, applying your wealth of research expertise and project management skills from inception to the delivery of insightful results. You will be the client-facing expert, instilling confidence in our research design, outcomes, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Actively participate in the business development activities of the department. Your enthusiasm and expertise will be pivotal in bringing new opportunities to the forefront, helping clients make informed decisions based on the data and insights you design and generate.
- Partner with colleagues across Kantar to help clients understand their business questions with robust research methodologies.
- Independently lead the design of research projects, ensuring commercial support in costing, pricing, budget, and cost control of the projects being delivered.
- Making commercially astute decisions on behalf of Kantar will be crucial.
- Grow the Buyer Journey expertise in the team and lead a highly informed and confident team of capable and results-oriented researchers.
- Contribute to the development of the department's strategic offer in terms of buyer journey research and custom research.
- Well-rounded experience in Quantitative Research; interpreting client briefs to convert to compelling proposals, translating proposals into strong research design materials such as questionnaire and sample design, methodology recommendations, creation of data specs, and analysis and interpretation of data.
- Strong expertise in path to purchase research with appropriate skills and knowledge to own the research and analytics element of a project with confidence in sign-off responsibility for design and outputs.
- Proven client management experience; confident leading client relationships and client conversations on the research element of the project.
- Experience mentoring or training members of a team, fulfilling the expectation of successfully upskilling colleagues.
- An ability to learn and a desire and hunger to improve your skills.
