The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
The role is responsible for providing practical and social work support for children, young people, and families. This involves managing a more complex caseload, undertaking assessments, visiting children and their families, carrying out interventions, reviewing the work undertaken, engaging in direct work with children, young people, and families, and performing any other work identified as necessary. All activities must be based on best evidence and good practice, prioritising the best interests of children and young people. The post holder may also offer mentoring, work-shadowing/work experience opportunities, and study towards the Practice Educator qualification and post-qualifying modules.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Barred List check.
