About the Role
The Community Mental Health team provides recovery-focused treatment plans for individuals with severe mental illness. You will have recent experience working in a mental health environment and be able to apply engagement and recovery philosophies in your work with service users, with an awareness of the Mental Health Act.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients, providing accessible and responsive mental health services to patients and their families.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary team working within the community mental health service.
- Build effective liaison with community, primary, secondary, and tertiary services to provide holistic care.
- Communicate effectively, including complex, sensitive, or contentious information, using de-escalation and mediation skills.
- Evaluate care quality and implement improvements through clinical audits.
Requirements
- Recent experience in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. The role includes a £3,000 Recruitment Premium upon commencement and a further £1,500 Retention Premium (pro-rata) annually, paid monthly, subject to review. Applicants must pass an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust covers. Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.
