As InHealth continues to grow and thrive, we\βre seeking an experienced Clinical Endoscopist to join our clinical team in our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Redruth, which is due to open its doors imminently.
You\βll have the opportunity to work as part of a well-oiled clinical team, in suites that are equipped with the highest quality equipment, so you can feel confident you have the best tools for the job.
Our patient lists are well planned, meaning you won\βt be overstretched by slotting in extra appointments. Working at InHealth means you have access to excellent facilities in a well-structured clinical environment, where you\βll provide outpatient support for clinics as well as undertake endoscopy sessions.
Our advanced Gastroenterology and Endoscopy service provides rapid examination and diagnosis for patients in Redruth. Our focus is on ensuring patients receive high-quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include performing diagnostic endoscopies, providing outpatient support, and contributing to clinical governance activities.
Requirements
- A UK registerable Medical Degree
- GMC registration with a license to practice
- Entry onto the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
- JAG Accreditation
Experience
- Demonstrable skill in diagnostic colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Ability to undertake clinical audits and apply findings
- Experience equivalent to that required for UK CCST
- Expert clinical opinion in elective gastroenterology
- Full responsibility for patient care
