We are seeking to appoint a kind, organised and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Statham Manor Care Centre. The role involves assisting with meal preparations for residents and external visitors.
Role Details:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as directed by the Head Chef / Assistant Chef.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to schedules.
- Comply with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, and HACCP regulations at all times.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Chef.
- Perform pot washing duties daily.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in food services is desirable.
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment as part of a team is desirable.
- Effective communication skills are essential.
- A willingness to learn is essential.
- No formal qualifications are required as training will be provided.
