We currently have a great opportunity for Fire Door Carpenters to join our team in Brandon, Suffolk.

Specification:

  • Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience
  • CSCS Card
  • Proven experience working as a Carpenter carrying out maintenance to fire doors and fitting fire doors
  • Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector
  • Knowledge/Awareness of Health and Safety on site
  • Aptitude, skills & abilities:

    • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Ability to use own initiative
    • Ability to diagnose/problem solve

    Personal attributes:

    All site workers will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. A Full UK driving license is essential.

    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

    Hours: You will work 39 hours each week, Monday to Friday.

    Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

    • Installation of Fire Door Sets
    • All aspects of fire door maintenance
    • Working in a team and also independently when required
    • Liaise with management team on a daily basis
    • Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings
