Our home at the London Stadium has a capacity of 62,500, making it one of the biggest club Stadia in the country; however, our tickets are the lowest priced for London-based clubs in the Premier League, echoing objectives to create Affordable Family Football.
In 2018, our Women’s team gained professional status for the very first time, jumping 2 divisions and competing in the Women’s Super League (WSL), the premier division of women’s football in England. After finishing a respectable 7th, the team enjoyed particular success in the FA Cup, reaching the final of the competition, eventually being beaten by 2017 winners Manchester City. In April 2019, we opened our brand-new Academy facility based at Chadwell Heath which will help to bring through some of the very best talents in the area. The recent emergence of First Team Players Declan Rice and Ben Johnson are a testament to the work already being done at the Academy.
On the business side, we are continuing to create a Stadium our supporters can call home, with the renaming of the Billy Bonds Stand and Claret and Blue pitch surrounding amongst the latest developments. Additionally, the Club has achieved the Disability Confident Leader status. The Club employs a constantly growing workforce of approximately 300 core staff and 500 Foundation and events staff, and is a truly unique place to work. - Role: West Ham Women's Performance Analyst Student Placement.
- Contract: Student Placement.
- Eligibility: Current MSc Students or MSc study starts in September 2025 - Applicants must require a Placement as part of their university course/sandwich year.

- Hours: Full Time including evenings and weekends

West Ham United Women have a student internship available for the upcoming season (2025/26). These opportunities are available to all work placement and master’s students. Those invited to interview may be asked to complete a task to demonstrate their analysis skills and football understanding.
Requirements
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all aspects of the training analysis and match analysis
- Assisting with the daily monitoring of all players
- Helping to film first team training & individual rehabilitation sessions
- Supporting with the data collection & recording of GPS & training load monitoring – pre, live & post training
- Assisting with all aspects of the match analysis department – pre & post-match - team and individual analysis
- Assisting with the monitoring of West Ham loan players
- Maintenance of relevant equipment and ensure the correct equipment is taken to match days and assisting in match preparation as requested.
- Working under guidance of the first team football analysts to deliver under the club football analysis philosophy, bringing innovation and enthusiasm to the program.

- The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas:
- Education, Qualifications, Experience:
- Currently undertaking a Postgraduate/MSc university course in a relevant subject i.e. performance analysis (E)
- Knowledge and experience of Hudl Analysis software (D)
- Able to travel occasionally with regular weekend work (E)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients (E)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail (E)

The role is full-time, and flexibility with hours is needed as the successful candidate will be expected to be in when the players are. Note there will be regular performance reviews, and a confidentiality agreement would need to be signed with the Club regarding potential sensitive data handling.
