Are you struggling to fit a part-time job around other commitments? Maybe you have another role and need to increase your income? Or are you newly retired and looking for a way to give back? Our clients need your support around the clock. This means our CAREGivers can work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends depending on their availability. The times you are available to work could be the times we need you the most! Whether you have 5 free hours a week or 16, as long as your availability is consistent week in, week out, we can match you with our wonderful clients and get you out in the community caring for others.

At Home Instead, we do things a little differently. All CAREGiver/Client relationships are pre-matched, meaning you will see the same smiling faces week in, week out. Visits are always a minimum of an hour long, providing plenty of time to build meaningful friendships. As the saying goes, "love your work and never work a day in your life!" Please Note: A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for all CAREGiver roles. Pay ranges from £14.00 to £20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are needed for the role; full training is provided in-house. What matters to us is your personality, attitude, and most importantly, your passion to support the elderly generation across Cleveland.

Additional Information
  • Paid (award-winning and City & Guilds accredited) training - £100 upon completion of Care Certificate Graduation and a celebratory bottle of bubbly.
  • DBS reimbursement after completion of the Care Certificate.
  • £150 Employee Referral Scheme.
  • Paid Mileage: 45p per mile taking clients places; 25p per mile in between client visits.
