DSV is seeking a dedicated Terminal Operator to join our team in Avonmouth. The role involves managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring safety and accuracy in unloading, receiving, checking, wrapping, and put-away processes. The successful candidate will also perform various warehouse operations in accordance with safety and operational procedures.
Key Tasks
- Report to the supervisor and oversee daily warehousing operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and delivery.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely.
- Minimise losses and damages during warehouse processes.
- Maintain high accuracy and organisation standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment and report incidents immediately.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Handle goods in vehicles/containers for replenishment.
- Pick, pack, label, re-box, and stack products on pallets.
- Manage returned goods, including unloading, sorting, and storing.
- Perform quality checks and maintain stock integrity.
- Complete all tasks with quality and accuracy.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including PPE and housekeeping.
- Conduct pre- and post-use inspections on workplace transport and report issues.
