Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a passion for Commercial Property law? We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join this dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment while providing excellent service.
The Role
- Maintain the Fee Earner's diaries, arranging meetings and appointments efficiently.
- Handle routine client correspondence and queries with professionalism.
- Open and close client files in accordance with firm procedures.
- Attend to clients in person and over the phone, reflecting the firm's high standard of client care.
- Create and maintain accurate client records on the firm's database, ensuring all communications and file notes are recorded in compliance with HCB's and Lexcel's requirements.
- Prepare client correspondence and enclosures for mailing, including billing and invoicing.
- Request payments and record receipts of client monies accurately.
- Provide reception cover as needed, ensuring smooth operation of office duties.
Skills Required
- Previous experience working as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally within Commercial Property.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise a diverse workload.
- Discretion when handling sensitive client matters.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a methodical approach to tasks.
- Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
