The predicted salary is between 24169 - 24169 £ per year.
Hours: One full time role of thirteen 11.5 hours shifts across a 4 week rota and one part time role of three 6 hour shifts a week.
Location: Watford Peace Hospice
Salary: £24,169 per annum (pro rata)

The post holder will be required to work shifts covering the period from 6pm to midnight. This service is required over a 7-day period. You will need to support the effective management of out of hours calls for our community services.

You will therefore need to demonstrate your abilities in the following areas:
- Proactively contribute to the delivery of high-quality safe evidence-based care.
- Deliver high quality specialist palliative and end of life care as part of the Inpatient Unit multidisciplinary team.
- Under the direction of a multi skilled team, support the assessment, planning, and evaluation of individualised patient centred care, ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to the patients' ever-changing needs.
- To support the smooth running of a shift, ensuring staff and patients are safe.
- To support the management of calls (call handling service) for all our community services.
- As a member of the wider organisation, demonstrate delivery of the agreed vision and values.

We will support people of all ages who are affected by a progressive life-limiting illness and those who care for them, to live as well as possible by providing choice and ease of access to a wide range of palliative care and bereavement services across West Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
We provide care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness, and their families, visiting day and night. It’s important work and, to make it all happen, we need talented and passionate people.
If successful, you’ll join on the first working Monday of the month so we can best support you with our structured induction programme.
