Brook Street are hiring a Youth Tutor to join our client, an "Investing in People" platinum award winning organisation. As a Youth Tutor you will be responsible for providing specialist route support to learners within workshops or in one-to-one settings.
The Role:
- Ensure learners achieve their qualifications in a timely manner through effective guidance and support.
- Actively support and engage learners throughout their qualification journey, fostering positive outcomes and learner progress.
- Responsible for opening and registering qualifications in line with internal procedures.
- Register, arrange, conduct, and invigilate controlled assessments in accordance with awarding body requirements.
- Maintain high-quality standards as set by internal and external quality assurers.
- Carry out all associated teaching and assessment responsibilities, including preparation, delivery, marking, and feedback.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessment activities and learner documentation, ensuring integrity and traceability.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion and accuracy of learner paperwork to reflect true progress and compliance.
- Attend and actively participate in standardisation meetings and continuous professional development (CPD) events.
- Contribute to planning, monitoring, and achieving agreed performance targets.
- Liaise with team members to support qualification delivery and ensure consistency in approach.
- Continuously develop and update learning materials and resources to meet evolving delivery requirements.
- Maintain positive working relationships with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Travel across a regional area to visit and support learners at various locations, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
