General Handyperson Maintenance Operative

Job Title: Warehouse Maintenance Handyperson

Red Recruitment Group is currently seeking a general warehouse maintenance handyperson to work within a warehouse and office environment.

Hours of Work:

• 08:00 Monday to Friday
• Plus every other Saturday at 08:00

This is a two-week temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities:

• General building maintenance within warehouse and office environments
• Dismantling and erecting racking and shelving in the warehouse
• Producing wooden inserts for racking storage
• Changing light bulbs and performing basic electrical maintenance as required
• Painting and decorating office areas as needed
• Assisting with general repairs and reporting to senior management
• Minor plumbing and decorating repairs/maintenance

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential, as you may need to travel to other internal depots

Salary:

• GBP 28,571.40 per year (GBP 12.21 per hour)
• OTE with overtime GBP 32,000+
• Overtime paid at time and a quarter over basic hours when permanent

Payment is weekly during the temporary period and monthly when permanently employed. Immediate interviews and start are available.
