Social Media Manager – Hybrid in West Sussex
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading travel and leisure company that specialize in outdoor holidays across UK and Europe with an array of activities and offering life-time experiences and adventures to holidaymakers.
They are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to oversee the strategic management and development of their social media channels, driving brand awareness, lead a team and work closely with the marketing team.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention, activation, and engagement across social media channels. Set and track KPIs to measure the success of initiatives.
- Collaborating with the Marketing and Research & Insight teams to identify and target relevant audiences for social media campaigns
- Advocate for social media’s role in driving business performance, continuously optimizing strategies and sharing insights with the wider business team.
- Track and analyse the social media activities of relevant competitors to identify opportunities
- Oversee external agencies responsible and ensuring performance and straregy aligns with the company’s objectives.
- Work closely with the Contact Centre to ensure timely sharing of campaign information, ensuring members and non-members alike receive the most current and informative content.
Social Media Manager Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in a B2C social media role within the travel industry
- Strong management skills, with previous experience in managing a team
- Solid understanding of GDPR and its impact on social media channels.
- A track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing significant budgets and making strategic decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
Social Media Manager Additional Details
- A basic salary in the region of 60,000 – 65,000 per annum depending on experience.
