Full job description
- Working knowledge with Sage 50 Accounts
- Qualification in Accounts and relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Great communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and implement efficient processes
- Processing purchase/expenses invoices and payments in Sage
- Responsible for monthly reconciliations of client accounts payable ledgers, ensuring timely and accurate data
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other contacts
- Dealing with any supplier queries via telephone and email
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll journals and reconciliation
- Sales and collection reconciliation
- Other balance sheet control account reconciliation
- Assisting with month-end processes including journals
- Day-to-day accounts processing
- Checking and reconciling supplier statements
- Creating and maintaining accounts spreadsheets
- Creating statements and reports as requested
- Managing and filing in-house and client documentation
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts
- Taking care of administrative tasks such as correspondence, filing, and printing
- Preparing and entering journals into the system
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, W3 6QX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
