An elite international law firm with a top-tier insurance litigation practice is seeking an experienced Large Loss Solicitor (NQ-5+ PQE) to join its leading team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a defendant personal injury specialist to work on some of the most complex, high-value catastrophic injury cases in the market.
The Role:
This role sits within a nationally respected casualty practice handling complex, multi-million-pound claims on behalf of major UK insurers and global corporate clients. Matters include:
· Catastrophic injury and fatal accident claims
· Claims involving spinal, brain, and multiple orthopaedic injuries
· Indemnity, liability, and quantum disputes
· Multi-jurisdictional and cross-border litigation
You will be supported by a wider team of junior lawyers and paralegals, and will have the opportunity to manage your own files as well as assist on landmark matters led by nationally recognised partners.
Candidate Requirements:
· UK qualified solicitor with NQ-5 years\’ PQE
· Strong defendant personal injury or insurance litigation experience (claimant experience with transferable skills may be considered)
· Proven experience in high-value or complex injury claims
· Excellent communication, analytical and client-handling skills
· Experience working with large insurers or self-insured corporates is advantageous
