Engineering Maintenance Fitter / Diagnostics EngineerSITE BASED PERM ROLE
$35-45 base hourly rate – Depending on Experience

Platinum Recruitment are excited to be partnering again with these FMCG processing sites in their search for Maintenance Fitters.Multiple site locations:Ashburton, Rolleston, Christchurch, Dunedin

THE ROLE Rotational shift 4 on 4off. Your focus will be on minimizing downtime of the plant, so our processing team can get on with what they do best. There will be projects at times & on-going opportunities for you to upskill, train & grow in your career here. Your demonstrated ability to prioritize your jobs, speed to react to breakdowns & use of initiative to utilize preventative measures will stand you well in these busy 24 hour sites.

REWARDS

• Base hourly rate $35-45 p/hour (depending on experience)
• On-going opportunities for growth and training

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years maintenance fitting experience
• NZ Level 4 Trade Cert Fitter or NZQA equivalent
• Demonstrated abilities for fault finding & diagnostics
• Proficient with CMMS in manufacturing sites
• Experience in food / FMCG manufacturing sites preferred
• Excellent communication skills for a loud, busy site
• Availability for on-call roster
