Assembler (Nights ) - Entry level starting at $19/hour +Night Shift Differential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble products correctly.
• Operate rigging and lifting devices safely.
• Assemble assigned product parts following standard work instructions.
• Report quality, equipment, and material issues to supervisors.
• Complete documentation and work efficiently.
• Work effectively both independently and in teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Act, live, and behave according to TCF Core Values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, depending on location and product line.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent; up to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop orders, blueprints, safety rules, and work instructions in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and ability to read a tape measure.
• Proficient in the safe and proper use of hand tools.
• Depending on the department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, AND TRAINING

The company will provide necessary certifications and training, including:

• JSA completion, forklift operation, PPE identification and usage, crane training, hazard awareness, lift table operation, rigging safety.
• Understanding of SQDE metrics, LDMS, issue boards, and 5S methodology.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Continuously lift/move 10 pounds; frequently up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, use hands, reach above shoulder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear regularly.
• Occasionally climb, balance, and work in limited spaces.
• Requires specific vision abilities including close, color, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, high places, fumes, airborne particles, caustic chemicals, and loud noise levels.
