Job Title: Multi-Skilled Surfacing Operative

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Surfacing Operative to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic and hands-on environment, working as part of a surfacing gang to ensure high-quality results.

This role requires flexibility to work days or nights as needed.

Key Mission Objectives

• Perform a range of tasks within the surfacing gang, including operating Screws and Rake Hand.
• Preferred but not essential: drive a Paver and JCB confidently.
• Support the machine lay gang to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and meet quality standards.
• Promote and maintain principles of road surfacing within the civil engineering and highways sector.
• Adhere to and support Health & Safety Regulations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience: Essential experience working within surfacing gang.
• Qualifications:
  • NPORS tickets for any plant they can operate are preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to operate plant machinery (e.g., Paver or JCB) is a plus.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work day or night shifts as required.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
