Banking & Finance Solicitor | 4 to 6 years\’ PQE (Open to Wider Range) | National Law Firm | Nottingham| Hybrid Working
BCL Legal are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Banking & Finance Solicitor (ideally 4 to 6 years\’ PQE, though candidates outside this range will be considered) to join a highly regarded national law firm. This is an excellent chance to develop your career within a leading Banking & Finance team known for its collaborative culture and high-quality client base.
The Role
This is a varied role with a strong real estate finance focus, predominantly advising lender clients including clearing banks and specialist lenders. You\’ll work closely with senior lawyers on:
– Real estate finance matters, including reports and certificates of title
– Acquisition finance, asset-based lending, and general banking transactions
– Supporting larger corporate transactions with banking input
– Developing and managing your own caseload of matters
– Building and maintaining strong client relationships
– Contributing to business development and marketing activities
The team acts across a broad range of sectors including education, charities, and commercial property, offering consistent access to interesting and challenging work.
The Candidate
– Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 4-6 years\’ PQE in banking and finance (other levels considered)
– Demonstrable experience in reports on title/certificates of title is essential
– Strong technical skills and attention to detail
– Commercial mindset with excellent drafting and client advisory capabilities
– A proactive, confident team player with the ability to manage varied workstreams
– Willingness to engage in business development activities
