About the Role
Join the B2B Planning Team as a Marketing Manager for the Nature Journals Portfolio! We are seeking a B2B Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our Nature Portfolio journals. In this role, you’ll leverage innovative campaigns and projects to strengthen our presence in existing markets while identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.

Your ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns will be instrumental in propelling our business forward.
The Team:
The Marketing Planning team within Research Marketing is dedicated to delivering effective and efficient tactical marketing programs that drive submissions and revenue. Our goal is to increase conversions, leverage the optimal channel mix for the best ROI, and support and strengthen our brand and product values.
Role responsibilities:
- Creating compelling marketing programs to support the upsell and new business for the Nature Portfolio journals.
- Translating B2B marketing strategies into actionable and measurable marketing plans that drive lead generation from existing and new customers/audiences.
- Working closely with the B2C Planning team to align launch plans and more for Nature New Launches.
- Performance-driven utilization of the marketing channel mix and tactics, with a strong emphasis on automation and data-driven efficiency.
- Target-group-oriented development of content for campaigns and projects.
- Ongoing reporting against revenue and set KPIs including definition of measurements and benchmarks for campaigns & programs and evaluation of performance.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Solid marketing experience including content creation, storytelling and digital marketing, preferably in B2B.
- Proficient in managing marketing campaigns and projects focused on new business development.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Comfortable to work to deadlines and within budget with strong analytical skills and high focus on performance and ROI.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment.
- Excellent digital marketing and customer-centric skill set.
- Adaptability based on campaign performance, changing environments, and results monitoring.
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a matrix and cross functional team structure.
- Positive attitude towards and actively driving change with a flexible approach and openness to innovative ideas.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or closely related field.
Desirable:
- STM sector experience or a science background is an advantage.
