We are excited to advertise a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Lead post on Castleside. Continuous development and training are supported for the team and its leadership team. The Clinical Nurse Lead will participate in collaborative working with patients, carers, and the MDT to facilitate high standards of individualised patient care.

Castleside is a ten-bedded mixed assessment inpatient ward assessing patients with cognitive impairment. The Clinical Nurse Lead will work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative care plans through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within an inpatient setting.

  • Act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.
  • Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care and treatment.
  • Be visible and accessible to patients, families, and carers to ensure efficient, effective, and caring services.

Education and Qualification:

  • ENB 998 / P126/127 or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Post registration clinical experience.
  • 12 to 24 months band 5 qualified nurse experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Change Management.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and will require a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
