Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dealing with multiple drivers.
- Communicating with ports.
- Booking delivery slots for entry in ports.
- Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers' start times and finish times.
- Chasing drivers for ETAs and making sure they are on time.
- Rerouting jobs as and when needed.
- Checking all PODs are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system.
- Speaking to customers about possible delays.
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential.
- Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
- Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
- Can work on own initiative.
- Quick and efficient problem-solving skills.
