Job Description
Windows Engineer X1 The Windows engineer will be responsible for deploying read-only privileged accounts within a highly controlled enterprise environment. This role involves developing automated deployment processes, validating end-user requirements, and ensuring the deployment schedule is delivered. The role will require making changes to Active Directory users, groups and permissions and an understanding of integrating with privileged access management systems.
Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot and implement automated deployment processes for read-only accounts.
• Interpret and validate end user requirements to ensure accurate deployments.
• Liaise with end users to conduct user acceptance testing.
• Maintain and modify PowerShell scripts to support creation and deployment processes.
• Work to tight deadlines and manage multiple deployments effectively.
• Provide support for deployments during UK office hours (GMT 0800 to 1800) Monday to Friday.

Skills And Experience

• Experience with Active Directory management, including user and group modifications.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting to automate account and group creation and configuration.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and enterprise environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows account management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team and with end users.
• Experience with project-based work and meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
