About the role:
The District Manager is a brand new role. They will lead teams of around 16 Store Managers and be the operational experts within the Argos business, providing hands-on support and daily coaching opportunities to boost business performance and achieve store KPIs. Although a field-based role we expect our District Managers to be in their shops, operating on-the-ground to drive performance in their teams, championing operational excellence and ensuring process compliance, everything they do is around making every Argos experience a brilliant one for our customers.
Essential Criteria (When submitting your application please attach a CV which demonstrates you meet these criteria):
- Demonstrates a focus on customer service, putting the customer at the heart of key decisions.
- Demonstrates success in having had a positive influence on KPIs and business performance.
- Demonstrates the importance of building relationships.
- Understands the importance of prioritisation to generate the most successful results.
- Experience in managing ER cases.
- A proven ability to lead teams of managers, experience doing this remotely would be advantageous, with a key focus on coaching and development.
