We are looking for a Director - Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) to join our Global Evidence, Value and Access consultancy group, in London, (Hybrid) or Remote in England, UK. This role is leading and managing the systematic review team, supporting the Practice Leader in achieving the overall strategic and financial objectives of the practice area. This role is primarily focused in these high growth areas of the consulting business:
- Contribute to the design, quality and execution of systematic literature reviews (SLRs), new SLR proposals and pitch presentations.
- Produce high-quality client deliverables conforming to the project requirements (quality and timelines), and internal processes and styles.
- Demonstrate a proactive and efficient approach in the planning and organization of project tasks.
About You - Experience, Education, and Accomplishments:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting.
- 6 years of systematic review experience.
- At least 3 years of team leadership experience.
- At least 4 years of client management experience.
- At least 4 years of project management experience.
It would be great if you also have:
- PhD in life sciences.
- Experience with SLR publications.
- Knowledge of healthcare economics and market access.
What will you be doing in this role:
- Intellectual planning and design of SLR projects at the proposal writing stage.
- Undertake SLR projects, including data extraction, qualitative summary, meta-analyses, and report writing.
- Provide guidance and design input for appropriate statistical analyses.
- Supervise SLR projects and junior analysts and researchers in the project team.
- Project management responsibilities, including project planning, client engagement, and project tracking.
- Liaise closely with the Technical Lead to ensure consistently high-quality research and reporting.
- Recruit, train, and supervise teams of consultants and managers, providing feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities.
- Lead, direct, and review the team's work to achieve operational or functional targets and contribute significantly to the team's, department's, and organization's short-term results.
- Engage in business development activities to achieve revenue targets.
About the Team:
We are a team of 20+ high-performing professionals and proud to be Clarivate’s Evidence Generation Centre of Excellence. Our work spans a broad range of literature reviews and advanced analyses, including network meta-analyses (NMAs) and indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs). We support pharmaceutical and medical device companies by generating robust evidence for HTA submissions, market access activities, and value communication to payers and decision-makers. Our global projects cover systematic reviews and meta-analyses across clinical, epidemiological, economic, and humanistic outcomes in various therapy areas. This evidence feeds into global value dossiers, economic models, value story development, and strategic market access planning.
Hours of Work:
This is a full-time permanent position and can be based in London, UK (Hybrid), or Fully Remote, UK. Weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance is required, with some scheduling flexibility around core working hours.
