The Opportunity

The ARAA practice represents a growing capability within Atos and currently comprises a team of analysts, developers, consultants and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle; from data management through to business intelligence and analytics. The practice is technology agnostic and has capability across a range of technologies, including products from SAP, IBM , Microsoft, Tableau and Qliktech.

Atos work with a range of large organisations facing an ever-increasing demand to realise greater value from their data and are seeking the skills to present that data in various ways using one of the leading visualisation tools.

As stated above we use a variety of tools including Tableau, Cognos and Qlik but the most common is now Microsoft Power BI

We are therefore seeking hard-working Business Intelligence Visualisation and modellers to join our fast-growing team. We are especially interested in consultants with a broad range of technology experience who have the appetite to increase their knowledge in multiple Visualisation Tools!

The role will be design visualisations and the models that underpin them, extracting data from different data sources.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Input into or sole definition of Visualisation Business Models
• Design of BI visualisations using wireframes
• Development of visualisations in multiple tools
• Involvement in pre-sales and bid efforts to define, document and explain BI data management solutions
• Acting as design authority for small BI Data Management application projects
• Team lead for teams of BI Developers (and possibly other members of the project team) to support the above work
• Client facing role working through requirements gathering to deliver the visualisations
• Definition and estimation of the effort to deliver the visualisations

Requirements:

• Significant and proven experience in the use of at least 2 leading BI tools across multiple projects, preferably Power BI
• In-depth knowledge of modelling in those tools
• Demonstrate experience across relational and database technology, including Oracle and SQL Server and data lakes
• Must be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving
• Pragmatic and detail orientated
• Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills
• Superb communication skills, both orally and in writing.
