Data Analyst - £21,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to join a Data Analysis team in a hard-working, highly numerate environment. Reporting to the IT Director, you will be working in a retail company that conducts complex analysis to make data-driven decisions.

The company is always looking to improve, so you will be working closely with co-workers to make improvements and streamline processes. You will be spotting patterns and trends, exploiting that data, and coming up with intuitive solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

1. Mathematical analysis of Data
2. Developing predictive analysis techniques
3. Forensic Data investigations
4. Business case supporting analysis
5. Condition data from customers\’ asset databases
6. Assimilate unfamiliar concepts and formulate mathematical relationships suitable for a solution using computer tools

Skills

1. Must have a 2:1 or above in Maths / Physics / Engineering
2. Have experience with or be able to pick up Python, R, SPSS
3. Ability to work to tight deadlines
4. Good written and oral communication skills
5. Commitment to high standards of service delivery
6. A professional approach and can-do attitude
