Financial Accountant

Due to ongoing growth and a recent acquisition one of East Lancashires success stories are now looking to expand their finance team with the appointment of a Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the CFO you will work in the Commercial Finance Team and play a pivotal role in the closure of the organisations accounts.

The Financial Accountant role will include a number of key responsibilities including:

• Closing of the organisations accounts and in the production and reporting of key accounting statements
• Period end financial accounting duties and audit preparation
• Reconciliation of financial accounts, statements P&L and the company balance sheet
• Revenue budget monitoring and setting
• VAT and Intrastat
• Ad hoc accounting projects and administration

You will have significant exposure of working within the manufacturing industry and be exposed to all aspects of financial accounting. Superb communication skills are required to engage and report to stakeholders and to partner with other staff and departments to efficiently manage and monitor all financial aspects of the busines
