The role: Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and based in our London HQ, you will be responsible for developing long-term multi-channel strategies to achieve sustainable growth globally. As a business specialist you will be a key stakeholder in securing and driving profitability through proactive business and financial controlling.
- Be the main point of contact for the CCO and the regional MDs when it comes to financial plans.
- Be a strategic partner for the Global E-com Director, Retail director and Marketing Director, discover opportunities and risks prematurely, and provide actions to secure long-term growth.
- Lead, Develop and support CCO and commercial directors to grow the business.
- Collaborate with all departments with Brompton HQ and Regional teams and support functions regarding operational budgets and financial plans.
- Challenge and support each Regional Lead to drive the selling and optimise profitability during the budgeting process.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to secure stock levels, allocation, strategies and forecasting are being met to drive selling and growth globally.
- Be responsible for the operational and financial budgets for Brompton Bicycle Ltd.
- Together with the Commercial directors and Regional Leads, you set strategies for driving selling and maximising profit globally.
- Consolidation of key strategy work and long-term plans for Brompton Bicycle Ltd. And throughout the year help steer regions and functions towards the 5Yr plans.
- Responsible for operational profit for OMNI channel globally.
- Responsible for the financial P&L follow up and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Who you are:
- Strategic Thinking: Have the ability to support the management team (Directors and C-Suite) through proactive business controlling in strategic planning towards the global vision.
- Problem Solving: Oversee expected financial outcomes, analyse reasons for deviations and take actions together with each region and function to optimise profit.
- Budgeting: Set targets and seek opportunities for sales increase and improved profitability for Brompton Bicycle Ltd OMNI channel globally, both long and short-term.
- Collaboration: Have close cooperation with controllers in the central finance team to support with decisions impacting the overall business and be aware of ongoing initiatives that will impact the business.
- Strong Communication: Coordinate and communicate the annual financial process with both the regional organisations and central functions.
Desired Experience:
- Demonstrated track record of successfully scaling and leading the Commercial Planning for a substantial global consumer brand, driving significant revenue growth and dominance as a player in their market segment.
- Experience as a functional leader in international, matrixed organisations.
- Significant experience in omni-channel retail and ecommerce; with both DTC and B2B channel exposure.
