We’re a fast-moving SaaS startup with a validated MVP already live and early users onboard. Our platform solves a real pain point in the sales process for all companies with inbound pipeline, and we’re now gearing up for our next phase: product refinement, scalability, and growth. We are looking for a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take the lead on all things technical — from owning the architecture to growing the tech team, fixing bugs, and shipping new features fast.
- Own the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of the product
- Lead and expand our product development roadmap post-MVP
- Maintain, debug, and improve our existing front-end and back-end code
- Build and lead a small, high-performance engineering team as we scale
- Collaborate closely with the founders and product team on new features
- Make smart, scalable tech stack decisions to support long-term growth
- Oversee security, infrastructure, and DevOps best practices
- Work in short sprints with a bias toward shipping and iteration
Our Current Stack
- Languages & Services:
- Golang – Core services like the HubSpot listener are written in Go for performance
- Python – Some services originally built in Python, now being migrated
- Microservices-based — modular services for leads, mail, agent, onboarding, etc.
- Kafka – Message queue for inter-service communication (will migrate to AWS SQS)
- Redis – Caching and duplicate event prevention
- Docker – All services containerized
- OpenAI API – Used extensively for NLP tasks like email generation, analysis, and embedding
- Will be handled via a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) service once UI/UX is finalized
- PostgreSQL (multi-tenant schema for company-specific data)
- Future RDS setup planned (production/testing environments)
- HubSpot API – For lead management, email syncing, inbox handling
- Gmail – For email capture and sending
- OpenAI – For generating emails and analyzing content
- (Planned): SMS service for additional communication channels
- Deployment in progress for staging and production
- Centralized logging planned using either:
- ELK Stack
- AWS CloudWatch
You don’t need to have used our exact stack — just be able to work quickly in new environments.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in full-stack development (bonus if you’ve shipped SaaS products before)
- Previous leadership or team management experience — or ready to grow into it
- Ability to prioritize bug fixing, user feedback, and new feature builds simultaneously
- Comfortable with rapid iteration, MVP mindset, and scaling tech from 1 to 100
- Strong product thinking — you understand not just how to build, but what and why
- Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ideally based in UK/EU timezone, but open to remote globally
What We Offer
- Equity options — you’ll own part of what you build
- Autonomy and the opportunity to shape the technical direction
- Chance to grow into a long-term leadership role in a high-growth company
- A product-first team with deep domain knowledge and paying users
