Senior Credit Controller

My client in Manchester are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team, to help manage a team of 4 controllers. You will be assisting the Collections Manager in setting targets and initiatives as well as driving the right behaviour by setting an example in collecting outstanding monies.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Collections Manager in reviewing the existing systems and make suggestions to develop them
Identify any aged debt which needs attention
Preparation of documents to take legal action against bad debtors
Assist with staff training and the preparation of monthly reports

You will ideally have a legal background, however this is by no means an essential. They are looking for a professional controller with excellent attention to detail and has the ability to work without supervision and comfortable taking the lead and dealing with complex cases.
