Civil Engineering Project Manager – Outside IR35 – 52-Week Contract

I\’m currently working with a major civil engineering contractor who is delivering a large-scale infrastructure project in the Home Counties, and we\’re now looking to bring on board a Project Manager with solid experience in water and utilities works.

This is a 52-week contract, outside IR35, and is due to kick off in June or July — ideal for someone who\’s looking to secure their next long-term contract on a complex and rewarding scheme.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role involves managing a multi-package civils job with some technically demanding elements. You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of 5km+ of water mains
• Over 1km of ducting
• Drainage, manholes, and slab placement
• Precast concrete structures and prefabricated tanks
• Coordinating multiple contractors, subcontractors, and site managers
• Ensuring programme, cost, and quality targets are met
• Chairing progress meetings and reporting to senior management
