Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist experienced Sprinkler Fitters with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
- Follow blueprints, specifications, and safety codes to ensure accurate system assembly.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, measure, thread, and assemble pipes and components.
- Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and adhering to safety protocols.
- Support job site preparations, ensuring proper tools and supplies are available for tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
- Learn and apply fire safety codes, standards, and industry best practices under supervision.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or mechanical systems is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy tools and materials (50 lbs+).
- Comfortable working at heights, ladders, and in various environmental conditions.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools with a willingness to learn proper use and safety.
