Graduate Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Design firm, this is a chance to start your career with an award-winning civil engineering consultancy. This is a chance for someone who has just finished university to kick start their career within the Civils industry.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate with a degree in civil/structural engineering
• UK Passport and driving license
• Some experience in the use of software including Microsoft Excel and Word and Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit
• Enthusiasm for building/infrastructure design
• Passion for intelligent design in building refurbishment/reuse
• Interest in innovation in construction
• Excellent communication skills, and technical knowledge
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required

Responsibilities

• Working within a multidisciplinary team on project delivery
• Development of civil engineering designs to applicable standards
• Working up drawings, preparation of design details and specifications
• Undertaking inspections and surveys on site, preparing reports with conclusions and recommendations
• Contribute to the use of digital technology to improve processes and deliver efficiently
