Pay: £14 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including some weekends)
About The Role
We’re looking for confident, committed people to join our team as an Environmental Enforcement Officer . The role is straightforward: you’ll spend your day on foot patrol across the city centre and outer boroughs, identifying environmental offences and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) to offenders.

What You’ll Do
Patrol busy areas and outer boroughs on foot throughout your shift
Challenge and issue FPNs to individuals committing offences such as littering, dog fouling, and fly-tipping
Record activity accurately in reports and statements
Educate the public on environmental responsibilities
Work independently and as part of a supportive enforcement team
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication skills and professional presence
Resilience and confidence when dealing with the public
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor patrols in all weather
Reliable, proactive, and detail-focused
Driving licence preferred (not essential)
What We Offer
£14 per hour, full-time, permanent contract
40 hours per week, Monday-Sunday shifts between 8am-6pm
