Mechanical Process Engineer - Leeds

Are you a Process Engineer looking to take a step in your career with an award-winning manufacturing business, who operate within a niche corner of the market?

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing manufacturer who are opening a new site and looking to appoint a Process Engineer!

This is an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer, fitter, or maintenance engineer to look at machinery and have the ability to implement continuous improvement strategies to optimise it.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to lean standards and train operatives in 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, etc.
2. Adhere to TPM plan to ensure OEE meets KPI.
3. Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with the assigned production schedule.
4. Implement lean strategies to optimise machinery.
5. Ability to reduce machine downtime, improve daily function, improve quality, and/or increase production rate.

Your Skills & Abilities:

1. Awareness of lean and continuous improvement, Kanban, Kaizen, etc.
2. Appreciation of quality (ISO9001) and EHS (14001, 18001) standards.
3. Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience for a manufacturing business.
